Dolphins Unisex Excellence Centre

Planning for the Dolphins Unisex Excellence Centre is well advanced with designs, costings and the associated Business Case and Pitch documents all progressing well.
The club’s vision is to establish a cutting-edge rugby league excellence centre to support both the Dolphins NRL and NRLW teams, develop the women’s game and service its vast catchment.
The facility will:
- Serve as a hub for NRL and NRLW player preparation, rehabilitation and coaching support.
- Cater to both male and female players and will allow the club to establish its NRLW Program, ensuring comprehensive care and performance enhancement.
- Have a strong connection to our catchment extending from Brisbane to Central Queensland and will provide allied health and community aspects.
A key outcome of the project will be in ACTIVATING FEMALE PARTICIPATION:
The project will:
- Provide a pivotal piece in the puzzle to provide a pathway for young girls from grassroots to the NRLW.
- Allow the club to implement its strategic objectives of: providing female rugby league players, coaches and leaders with pathways to high performance sport.
- Increase participation rates of women and girls by encouraging equity and creating an environment that sets girls up for success.
- Motivate and inspire women and girls at all levels of their rugby league experience.
Construction is envisioned to commence in 2026 and be operational by 2027.
